A quick post tonight - today we were praying for wisdom, paying close attention to the intersection between faith and wisdom. We were exhorted to pray specifically for an area where we needed wisdom. This is a good exercise, because when we pray specifically, we get specific answers. It stretches our faith while at the same time teaching us about it.
We looked specifically at the following scriptures:
Proverbs 9
James 1 (5-8, 17-18 - but I would just read the whole thing straight through)
James 3:13-18
Psalm 90:12
